Chedrick Greene

Michigan State Senate | District 35 | Challenger
2026: Running

Special Election May 5!

Chedrick Greene is seeking to continue his life of public service to the people of Michigan and the 35th District as its State Senator.

Chedrick enlisted in the Marines right out of high school and served for 30 years, achieving the highest rank possible for enlisted officers, Sergeant Major E-9. Overlapping his military service, he is in his 27th year with the City of Saginaw Fire Department, where he has led as Fire Captain and Community Relations Liaison.

Most recently, Chedrick worked as District Assistant for then-State Senator Kristen McDonald Rivet, and even continued to do the job for months after the seat was vacated, ensuring that the 35th District’s residents were still supported.

❊ Why This Race Matters

The outcome of this special election race will determine control of the Michigan Senate. Holding this seat preserves a Democratic majority in the chamber and carries momentum straight into the midterms.

We are thrilled to support Robyn again!

Representative Robyn Vining has served Wisconsin’s 14th District since 2019. She was the only Democrat that year to flip a Republican-held seat — and did so by fewer than 150 votes.

Since then, she has built a reputation as a tireless advocate for public education, healthcare access, common-sense gun reform, and economic fairness.

From expanding Medicaid to increasing school funding and protecting Wisconsin’s parks, Robyn has consistently fought for policies that put families and communities first, showing she can deliver real results in one of the state’s toughest battlegrounds.

❊ Why This Race Matters

This is the most flippable WI Senate district and winning will not only decide the balance of power in Madison — but it will help shape the national landscape in ‘26.
